This is a superb tent. I am a dyed-in-the-wool fan of my Scarp 1, which has joined me on many, many adventures. I bought a Stratospire because I like the idea of using my trekking poles to create my shelter for the night. I pitched it yesterday in the garden to seal the seams and am just bowled over by the huge interior space and the ease of pitching. The stitching is neat and precise and the overall finish is excellent. I am really looking forward to using this one in the weeks to come but, so far, every single thing is impressive about this tent.

Although I have only great things to say about the two Tarptents I own, in my opinion the interior of the Stratospire 1 will only fit one person. I normally use it alone. However I once camped, sleeping overnight in the interior with a 2nd person. Even though the 2nd person was much smaller than I, we were too cramped to get much sleep.

Fantastic tent. Have had for around 5 years now and used a lot in Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Maryland in the States, England and Wales in the UK and Thailand and Cambodia in SE Asia and is holding up great and still looking more or less like new. Has been great in a wide variety of weather conditions, nothing too cold but lots of rain and strong wind in Wales!
Going to upgrade to a Stratospire Li when I can afford one and they’re in stock so I have the lighter 2 person version.

I have the Stratospire 1p tent. What a brilliant tent!
Well done sir, well done to you.
Not only is it a palace for 1. I cannot count on all my toes and fingers how many folks were puzzled by its design, only to be blown away by its tremendous space inside. Thanks for making a game changing piece of gear. Looking forward to taking it on my second thru-hike next year.
All the best!
