Twenty-one years ago we launched with absolutely no intention of becoming a company. We thought the global demand for a floorless tarp/tent would be maybe a few dozen a year and that this would just be a fun little side hobby and distraction from our real jobs in the real world. I still remember how shocked we were at receiving a couple of dozen orders on day one. As we celebrate 20 years with 20 current models, we are excited to offer a 21st model and a return to that very first shelter. The Preamble is the original Tarptent design but tent’gineered to high  performance and made with 20D silicone coated polyester  (“silpoly”), pressure rated to over 3,000mm, for sag-free performance.
